Per pack: 5 A lightly armored utility vehicle, entering production in 1997. Currently some 2,000 vehicles have been produced and entered service. Primarily armed with the M249 SAW in a shielded mount. The vehicle serves the JSDF in the roles of patrol/ security and as a light ambulance.
